Privacy Policy

Last updated: [INSERT DATE]

This template is written to match what the current TalkyHunt code actually collects and stores, based on its source. It is not legal advice, and it does not by itself make you compliant with GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws — a lawyer should confirm what applies to you based on where your users are, and you must keep this page in sync any time you change what data the app collects.

2. What we do not collect

3. On-device video safety scanning

While you're in a video call, your own browser runs an on-device nudity-detection model (nsfwjs) against your local video feed. No video frame is ever uploaded anywhere — only a confidence score. If that score indicates likely nudity, your device automatically ends the call and reports a moderation flag (score only, no image) to our server, which may lead to a restriction on the other user's account and a system-generated report visible to moderators.

4. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your conversations for advertising.

5. How long we keep it

Direct messages are kept indefinitely unless you delete your account. Match history, notifications, and reports are kept for moderation and safety purposes. If you delete your account, we remove your user record, your follow relationships, and your direct messages; reports and moderation history involving your account may be retained where needed for platform safety and legal compliance.

6. Who we share it with

7. Cookies and local storage

TalkyHunt uses your browser's local storage (not third-party ad-tracking cookies) to keep you signed in and to remember preferences like your selected gender option and language. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Age requirement

TalkyHunt is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
